Delete your Sara account

Delete it in the app

The quickest way is from the app itself. You'll be asked to confirm, and the account is deleted right away.

• Sara for families: Settings › Account › Delete account
• Sara for SLP: Settings › Privacy › Delete account

Or ask us by email

If you can't open the app, email support@saraspeech.com from the address on the account, with the subject "Delete my Sara account", and say which app it is. We'll confirm by email and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in
• Your children's or students' profiles
• Practice history, scores, reports, notes and every recording
• Practice reminders and settings

What is kept

• If your child works with a speech-language pathologist, the SLP keeps their own clinical record and notes for that child. Deleting a family account stops new practice from reaching them.
• Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, and they keep their own purchase records. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription: cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first.
• Records we are required to keep by law, kept only as long as the law requires, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Delete only some data

To delete recordings or a child's data without closing the account, email support@saraspeech.com and tell us what to remove.
